148: Health Hiatus
Dear Friends,
It's been a while since my last post.
Nearly six months.
Where'd you go?
I had a sudden health crisis this spring.
And spent a month in the hospital.
In July, I went back for a planned surgery.
Luckily, the surgery went well.
I am safely back at home.
Lately I've been focused on family, healing, and outpatient rehab.
As a result, The Fire Jar has been on the backburner.
But I'm finally feeling ready to show up in this space again.
I've missed this creative practice, the ritual, and the connections.
I may share additional details later.
For now, know that I'm deeply grateful for community support, acutely aware of mortality, and reflecting on some of my own previous wisdom.
As part of this journey, I am rereading some old posts :
The margins in life are small.
I am grateful to be alive.
