078: Mind Palace

Have you seen the Sherlock episode about his "Memory Palace"?

In the series, Sherlock stores visual clues from investigations in a mental database, recalling and analyzing key details to solve mysterious cases.

It's a modern spin on an old memory technique, known as the Method of Loci.

I am fascinated by this concept.

And spatial memory, in general.

This connection between memory and place is partly what inspired these two exercises in the drawing series.

I hope you'll give them a try!
